Girls’ Cross Country Wins IAAM Team Title

Members of Park School’s Girls’ Cross Country team took three of the top five spots in the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland (IAAM) conference final held on October 25. The strong finish earned the undefeated girls (12-0 coming into the meet) the 2016 team title!

Clara Brill-Carlat ’17 finished 2nd, just 3 seconds behind the front runner, with a personal best time of 21:07. Behind her were Julia Luljak ’19 (3rd), Maeve Thistel ’19 (5th), Celka Rice ’19 (7th), and Samantha Brooks ’18 (18th) to round out our top five.

Congratulations to each member of the team and to our coaches on an outstanding season!
