Starting this semester (Fall 2019), IT has implemented Sophos AntiVirus for macOS computers.  You may receive a pop-up that can be dismissed by following the instructions below:

1. Find the Sophos icon on the status bar located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.  
2. The Sophos Endpoint pop-up will appear, click the ‘Details’ link.
3. A second Sophos Endpoint pop-up will appear, click on the ‘Open Security & Privacy’ button.
4. Once the ‘Security & Privacy’ window opens, click ‘Allow’.  You can now safely close the ‘Security & Privacy’ window.  The pop-ups should no longer show up.
