Category:

Three Park students have received the highest national honors presented by the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. Out of 255,000 submissions, just over 1,800 were awarded National Medals (that works out to about .07 percent of submissions).

In the Art category, Anna Berghuis ’15 was awarded a Gold Medal for her painting, Thanksgiving Dinner.

Jessie Lamworth ’14 was honored with a Silver Medal for her drawing, Cinnameinstein.

Senior Baylor Knobloch was awarded a Gold Medal for writing in the poetry category.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the longest-running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teens in the U.S. Since 1923, the Awards have recognized the exceptional vision of our nation’s youth.
