Park Robotics

Park hosted the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) competition, which was attended by 48 FTC teams from across the area, including Park’s three teams from our Middle and Upper Schools.

Over the past four months, our teams have been working together to achieve the common goal of building a robot from the ground up — coding it, improving it, and getting it ready for competition day. Thank you to everyone who came to support or volunteer. It was so great to see teamwork and engineering in action!

FIRST Tech Challenge teams (up to 15 team members, grades 7-12) are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots to compete in a head-to-head challenge in an alliance format. Guided by adult coaches and mentors, students develop STEM skills and practice engineering principles, while realizing the value of hard work, innovation, and working as a team.
