Middle and Upper School Music Ensembles Take Part in “Music in the Parks” Festival at Hershey Park
This spring, vocal and instrumental ensembles from both Middle and Upper School participated in the Music in the Parks festival at Hershey Park. Music in the Parks offers student musicians feedback from professional adjudicators on their musicianship, skill, and more. After the performances, the festival concluded with an awards ceremony, where our musicians’ talents were recognized and many received ratings of excellence for their performances!
Middle School received the following awards:
- Chamber Strings — 2nd Place, Excellent
- Middle School String Orchestra — 1st Place, Excellent
- Middle School Concert Band — 2nd Place, Excellent
- Middle School Chorus — 3rd Place, Excellent
Upper School received the following awards:
- Park Jazz Collective — 1st Place, Excellent
- String Ensemble — 2nd Place, Excellent
- Wind Ensemble — 2nd Place, Excellent
- Parkappella — 3rd Place, Excellent
