Holi Color Run 2026
On Saturday, Park celebrated Holi with a color run on Sugar Campus! Thank you to Upper School AAPI (Asian American Pacific Islander Affinity Group) and the Partners Program for hosting such a wonderful event, and to everyone who came to volunteer and participate.
Holi, often called the Festival of Colors, marks the arrival of spring and celebrates themes of renewal, joy, and the triumph of good over evil. Rooted in Hindu traditions and mythology, the holiday commemorates stories such as that of Prahlad and Holika, symbolizing the victory of devotion and righteousness. It is a time when families and communities gather to celebrate with music, food, and the playful throwing of colored powders, representing happiness, unity, and the breaking down of social barriers.
