Reimagined Pearlstone Wing Opens for Start of School

Category:

In the Pearlstone Building, we have combined three existing rooms adjacent to the fourth grade classrooms to create the Lower School Multipurpose Room — a large, flexible gathering space that is able to accommodate multiple grade levels for events, assemblies, and more.

This space will also serve as a site for a range of school and community events; and we gratefully acknowledge that it will be dedicated in memory of Linda Halpert, a beloved Lower School faculty member.

When you have the opportunity, please visit the new space within the wing, and have a look at the full renovations of our fourth grade classrooms and the Pearlstone hallway. In addition to what you can see, the renovation also furthers our sustainability goals, advancing the building’s HVAC operations, and reducing our usage of fossil fuels on our way to our goal of campus-wide net-zero energy efficiency.
