Marilyn Healy

Marilyn is a school nurse providing health services to students and staff.

Marilyn has practiced pediatric nursing for her entire career, which began at Babies Hospital, now New York-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital. She worked for The Children’s Aid Society providing primary care to foster children. After completing a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) program, she practiced as a PNP in the Bronx before relocating to Pennsylvania where she was a clinical instructor for a weekend nursing program at a local community college. 

After moving to Maryland, Marilyn worked in maternal child health nursing at the University of Maryland as well as Sinai Hospital, and at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital, prior to entering her favorite specialty: school nursing. She spent many years as a school nurse, and then nursing supervisor, with Baltimore County Public Schools.

Marilyn has a B.S. in Nursing from Niagara University, and a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine PNP Certificate Program. She is a National Certified School Nurse Emeritus. Marilyn’s personal interests are her four grandchildren, with whom she spends as much time as possible.
