Margie Herman
Lower School Reading SpecialistMargie is a reading specialist working with Lower School students, faculty, and parents.
She has taught at the middle school and elementary levels in Baltimore County Public Schools, was a reading and learning disability specialist at several private schools, and a private academic coach for students in Grades K-12.
Margie has a B.S. in Elementary Education and Psychology from the University of Maryland, and an M.S. in Special Education with a concentration in reading and learning disabilities from Johns Hopkins University. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell, and Project Read, along with other specialty courses.
