Karyn Fisher

Karyn provides academic support to students, creates formal accommodation plans, and works with teachers to meet the diverse needs of the students in their classrooms.

She is advisor to Like Minds, the Upper School affinity group for students with learning differences.

Karyn began her career as a special educator in Baltimore County Schools and worked in a separate day school for students with moderate to severe learning differences before switching to general education in the world of independent schools. 

Karyn earned a B.A. in Biology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and an M.S. in Independent School Leadership from Johns Hopkins University. She is the parent of three Park students in the Classes of 2021, 2023, and 2024.
