Dan Lopez

Athletic Trainer

Dan is Park’s Athletic Trainer. He is a faculty advisor to the Bruins Athletic Council and a member of the Athletic Leadership Team. 

Until recently, Dan taught science courses, including Anatomy and Physiology, for many years in the Upper School.

Before coming to Park, Dan was a high school athletic trainer at schools in Florida and Maryland. He holds a B.S. from Temple University in Kinesiology, and an M.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from University of Florida. Dan is a Licensed Athletic Trainer, and a National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Certification certified athletic trainer. Dan has served as Treasurer for the Maryland Athletic Trainers’ Association (MATA), and has chaired and continues to serve as a member of the MATA’s Continuing Education Committee. He is an athletic training liaison and event coordinator for the MIAA.

A wearer of many hats (and scarves) at Park, Dan is also a proud dad to two Bruins in the Classes of 2029 and 2031.
