Anna Taylor

Pre-Kindergarten Homeroom

Anna teaches in the Pre-Kindergarten program. “I work with the youngest learners at Park. As a Kindergarten team, we get to introduce them to the Park School and the community we have here.”

Anna was co-director at a nature summer camp, and then became medical director after attending nursing school. Right before joining Park, Anna worked at Brown Memorial Preschool (now known as St. Thomas Preschool) in the 4-year-old classroom, and she also taught Kindergarten math there. She discovered Park School through another teacher, who was a proud Park parent.

“As a teacher of young children, I look forward to helping them explore new materials, activities, and passions. We provide a space to grow a love for reading, add great detail into our multi-stepped projects, or engage eagerly in our study of monarchs and birds. Exploring Park’s campus and discovering new flora and fauna with the class is one of my favorite pastimes.”

Anna earned her B.A. in Fiber Arts from Earlham College and her M.A.T. in Elementary Education from Goucher College, and a Certified Nursing Assistant Certification from Howard Community College.
