Amy Weintraub Moran ’04

As the Associate Director of Communications, Amy oversees the creation and dissemination of written and visual content across multiple channels, advancing the school’s mission through sharing stories of the Park experience.

She provides creative direction of the website — including strategic design — and produces content, and she oversees Park’s social media accounts. Amy manages the content, creation, design, writing, editing, and layout of publications including Cross Currents and Spring Currents magazines, and is also available to write and edit communications sent from every division. Amy cultivates stories that share the Park experience by engaging in the life of the school, attending events across all academic divisions, and working with students, teachers, administrators, parents, and alumni to build community and advance marketing, enrollment, and fundraising efforts. For several years, she was advisor for the school’s yearbook.

Before returning to Park, Amy — a member of the Class of 2004 — worked in publishing houses in Baltimore, New York, and New Jersey, including Wolters Kluwer, W.W. Norton, and John Wiley & Sons. 

With a focus on textbooks, she managed upwards of 20 projects at a time as a product development editor. Over her years in publishing, Amy functioned as a project editor, content editor, and production editor. She was adept at coordinating authors and meeting press deadlines. 

Amy earned a B.A. in English from the University of Rochester, with a minor in Classics, and an M.S. in Publishing from Pace University in New York. She is the parent to a Park School student in the Class of 2037.
