Allison Deacon

Allison teaches math in the Upper School. She teaches core math courses for 9th and 10th Graders as well as Statistics. 

Prior to joining Park, Allison spent eight years as a high school math teacher at Oakland Mills High School in Howard County, where she designed and taught classes in Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, and AP Statistics. While at Oakland Mills, Allison also served as the department chair. 

Allison holds a B.S. in Mathematics & Economics from University of Maryland, College Park, an M.A.T. in Mathematics Education from Towson University, has completed graduate-level mathematics coursework at Johns Hopkins University, and holds a National Board Certification.

Outside of work, Allison loves to knit and crochet!
