Mandi Muth
Lower School Coordinator of Academic ServicesAs the Lower School Coordinator of Academic Services, Mandi works collaboratively with students, families, and teachers to support the academic growth and individual learning needs of Lower School students. “I am passionate about helping students better understand themselves as learners, and ensuring that both support and enrichment opportunities help each child grow with confidence.”
In addition to her primary role, Mandi serves on the Admission Committee, the Learning Support Team, and the Student Support Team.
Mandi has spent more than 25 years in education, with specialized roles supporting reading intervention, learning support, and literacy instruction, as well as many years as a classroom teacher. Her experience spans public and independent school settings, and she has worked as a private tutor and adjunct professor, teaching literacy coursework at the undergraduate and graduate levels. She has also facilitated professional development for educators.
Mandi holds a B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Towson University and a Post-Baccalaureate Reading Certificate from Mount St. Mary’s University. She is trained in Orton-Gillingham, Phono-Graphix, and Paragraphology, and holds a Maryland State Teacher Certification.
“Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I especially love the water and all of the related activities such as kayaking, fishing, and boating. As a parent of two very different learners, I have a personal appreciation for the importance of both academic support and enrichment. I value genuine relationships and finding joy in both learning and everyday life.”
