Upper School Students Recognized for Commitment to Ulman Foundation Service Club
Last year, Upper Schoolers Leo F. ’27, Cameron B. ’27, and Jack R. ’27 started an Ulman Foundation service club, supporting young adults and their loved ones impacted by cancer. Ulman Foundation’s So Do We program provides students with opportunities to engage in education, service, and advocacy to create tangible change in their communities while growing as leaders.
With 14 schools participating in the program this year, students collectively:
- Contributed 550+ hours of service
- Participated in 1,000+ hours of educational programming
- Raised over $45,000 in support of young adults impacted by cancer
Park School program members played a meaningful role in this impact. This year, they:
- Contributed over 100 hours of service
- Completed over 250 hours of educational programming
- Raised $29,500 in support of the mission
Through their hard work and dedication, Park students achieved remarkable recognition this year. Leo F., leader of the So Do We Club, earned the Be Courageous Award, presented to the student with the highest fundraising impact. Through his outstanding efforts, Leo raised more than $20,000 in support of young adults impacted by cancer.
In addition, Park School was honored with the Maryland Cup, recognizing the top-performing school in the So Do We program, a true testament to the passion, leadership, and commitment of our students both inside and outside the classroom.
Congratulations to our Ulman Foundation club members for their extraordinary dedication and commitment to this program, and for cultivating a culture of service and leadership here at Park.
