Alumnae Gather to Honor Longtime Park Coach Midge Kaufman Thursby ’47

Category:

We are thrilled that a group of alumnae have come together this afternoon for a tea to honor Midge Kaufman Thursby ‘47 who served as their P.E. teacher, and more notably as their field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse coach. Their memories and testimonials about Midge are filled with life lessons learned through sports and competition under Midge’s guidance, and how they carry those experiences with them still.

We are grateful for Midge’s teaching and coaching and the influence she had on hundreds of Park athletes and that many of those same lessons continue to be shared with Park athletes today.
