Assiatou Diallo

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Fellow

Assiatou joins us for the 2024-25 school year as our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Fellow. “I work closely with students to ensure our school is a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and supported.”

Assiatou helps organize DEI assemblies for all divisions, and is a Middle School AAA (Affinity, Alliance, Advocacy) group leader. These groups foster a sense of belonging and promote advocacy for underrepresented communities.

Assiatou recently graduated from Smith College, where she received a B.A. in Africana Studies with a minor in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. While at Smith, Assiatou was a Quigley Fellowship intern for Meridians: Feminism, Race, and Transnationalism, designing and curating content for their various platforms and reviewing academic articles for relevance and suitability in the undergraduate curriculum. Assiatou was also a core teacher for the Aspire Program at the Hathaway Brown School in Cleveland, Ohio, where she designed and taught an 8th Grade social studies program with a focus on social justice concepts.
