Save The Date: Rivalry Day!
Save The Date for Rivalry Day!
We head to the Friends School campus for our ninth annual Rivalry Day — Saturday, September 27! The terms of Rivalry Day are simple: we play a lineup of games with our longstanding rivals, Friends School, keep track of the outcomes, and the school with the better record claims bragging rights until the next Rivalry Day. The Bruins are leading the Rivalry Day series, 7-2, with a big win last year. This year, we’re keeping the cup! There are Pre-Rivalry Day activities on campus on Friday, including a Pep Rally for Lower and Middle School students! Find all the details by clicking HERE!

Black Student Union Family BBQ – September 13
On Saturday, September 13, the Upper School Black Student Union will host a Back-to-School BBQ for Black and Black/Biracial students and their families from all three divisions! We will gather for food, fellowship, and games from 1:30 p.m.-3:30 p.m. on Kelly Field and in the Meadow. Click HERE to RSVP and to let us know what you can bring to share!
PA Bus Trip to NYC!
Join us for an unforgettable day in New York City on Wednesday, November 5!
We will gather at Park in the Athletic Center Lot at 6:15 A.M., board a Superior Tours state-of-the-art motorcoach, and head off to the Big Apple at 6:30 A.M. sharp —rain or shine. Upon arrival at Rockefeller Center, the day is yours.
We will depart NYC at 6:30 P.M. and arrive at Park around 10:30 P.M. Register by September 30.
Tickets are non-refundable. Space is limited, and reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. This trip is adults-only. No one under 21 will be permitted.

The Park School 2026-2027 Tuition Assistance Application is Now Open!
Park School families who currently participate in the Tuition Assistance program should begin their 2026-2027 application now! Log into your School and Student Services (SSS) account to begin as soon as possible. We encourage all applicants to take advantage of the new Easy Apply form by enrolling in IRS integration service!
The deadline for filing your application is Monday, December 1, 2025. Your application is not complete until all required tax and non-tax supplemental documents have been uploaded to your Family Portal.

The NEW Park School Store
Park is excited to announce that our new in-person store is open and ready for you! Located just off the Lobby of the Athletic Center, and open every day (check current hours!), the new School Store carries all of the latest Bruin swag, plus snacks, refreshments, and more!
School Store Hours:
Monday/Tuesday/Thursday: Noon—6 p.m.
Wednesday and Friday: 8 a.m.—2 p.m.

Partners at Park
On Saturday, September 20, we will celebrate the popular Partners at Park program with our fall kickoff event! Read more about the program here; applications for the program (to have a partner or be a partner) are due on September 12, and pairings will be announced prior to the kickoff. Back-to-School Night!
We look forward to welcoming you to campus for Lower School Back-to-School Night for Parents and Guardians in Grades Pre-K-5 • Thursday, September 11, 6:45-8:45 p.m.
- 6:45–7:25 p.m.: Kindergarten through Grade 2 parents meet with teachers in classrooms.
- 7:40–7:55 p.m.: All families meet in the Meyerhoff Theater for an address from Head of School Dan Paradis and Lower School Principal Matt Doyle.
- 8:05–8:45 p.m.: Grade 3–5 parents meet with teachers in classrooms.

Arriving Late, Missing School, or Leaving Early
Please call Natalia Johnson in the Middle School Office as soon as you know that your child will be absent from school (410-339-4185). You may also send her an email at njohnson@parkschool.net. Similarly, communicate with Natalia if your child will be picked up early from school, arriving late, or deviating from the normal school day in any way.

Is Your Challenge Waiver Filled Out? Please Read:
There are a number of parents who have not filled out their waivers for Park’s Challenge Course. If your child’s class uses the course and your child’s waiver has not been signed, they won’t be able to participate! Please fill out the Activity Agreement and Release Form for Student Participation in Challenge Course so that your child is ready and able to participate in challenge course activities throughout the school year.
Juniors and Seniors
DRIVING EXPECTATIONS (JUNIORS AND SENIORS) AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION:
All juniors and seniors (whether or not they plan to drive to school) must complete the permission forms (found in your Veracross Portal) by Friday, August 22, 2025. If you plan on driving to school, you must register the vehicle prior to parking on campus. The Vehicle Registration form is located at the bottom of the Driving Expectations forms.

Lunch
The cafeteria is open from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Here is a link to the menu. You can pay with cash, credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or use your student ID number.
Reminders
*If you arrive after 8:30 a.m., please sign in at the US desk before going to class. If you need to leave during the day for an appointment, please have a parent email usattendance@parkschool.net and sign out at the US desk before you leave.
ATTENDANCE: If you are sick or late to school or must leave for an appointment, please have your parents contact the school at usattendance@parkschool.net or 410-339-4175. Any time you come or go from campus between 8:30 and 3:00, be sure to sign in/sign out at the Upper School front desk.
EARLY DISMISSAL: Students are not to dismiss themselves. Please have a parent email usattendance@parkschool.net or call 410-339-4175 if you need to leave early.
