Black Student Union Family BBQ!
On Saturday, September 26, the Upper School Black Student Union will host a Back-to-School BBQ welcoming and celebrating Black and Black/Biracial students and their families from all three divisions! We will gather for food, fellowship, and games from 1:30-3:30 p.m. on Kelly Field and in the Meadow. RSVP HERE, and click HERE to let us know what you can bring to share. See you there!
Sukkot Celebration
Sunday, September 27 • 5–7 p.m.
The Park Upper School Jewish Student Union invites you to a Sukkot Celebration at Park! Join us on campus to decorate a sukkah together, and enjoy crafts and activities as we give thanks for the autumn harvest. Pizza will be served, and please sign up to bring additional food. CALLING ALL PARK GRANDPARENTS!
On behalf of the Park Grandparents’ Committee, we would like to send a warm welcome to all grandparents in our Park community. Grandparents are important members of the Park community, and the school has developed a wide range of events, programs, and volunteer opportunities with grandparents in mind. In order to invite grandparents to these events, we hope you will take a moment to fill out this brief Grandparent Contact Information Form. (*NOTE: If you have already been receiving our grandparent communications from previous school years, then no need to complete this unless your contact information has changed.) In the meantime, we hope you’ll also save the following dates for our upcoming fall grandparent programming:

PA Krispy Kreme Fundraiser
September 1-30
All month long, purchase a dozen glazed Krispy Kreme donuts through THIS LINK, and 50% of each sale gets donated to the Park PA. The PA uses fundraising to cover costs of many events including Saturday in the Park, May Day, and more!

New Park Athletics Partnership with Under Armour
We are excited to announce a new partnership with Under Armour this school year. All Varsity teams will be outfitted in Under Armour uniforms within the next three years, and each team will have its own team store with additional Park-branded Under Armour apparel. These stores will continue to populate additional items as the season/year progresses. There are also general Park Athletics items available for everyone in the community.

Don’t miss this unique opportunity to get together with other Park parents and Human Sexuality Educator Debbie Roffman to learn important skills for communicating with 9- 12 year olds about this vital topic. Dinner and Childcare provided.

Middle School Announcements
Middle and Upper School Picture Day!
Picture Day is Tuesday, September 29. There will be a make-up day on October 28. The make-up day is for those who were absent on September 29 or dissatisfied with their pictures. Middle and Upper School students’ pictures will be taken at the entrance to the woods by the Challenge Course. Please wear comfortable shoes. (If it rains, pictures will be taken in the Blaustein Gym I.) Upper School students should plan to bring themselves to the Challenge Course. Middle School students will have scheduled times to get their pictures taken.
School pictures are a beautiful and memorable way to commemorate the school year — as well as a great way to benefit the Parents’ Association. We appreciate your support! Even if you choose not to purchase copies of the pictures, all students will have their pictures taken. These pictures are used by Park School for archival and yearbook purposes.Freed Photography will email you a link to your child’s gallery after Picture Day. You can purchase pictures via the online link (through Freed Photography). If you are dissatisfied with the pictures, you have the option of having them retaken on the make-up day. 6th Grade Trip

Arriving Late, Missing School, or Leaving Early
Please call Jimmy Bonner in the Middle School Office as soon as you know that your child will be absent from school (410-339-4185). You may also send him an email [email protected]. Similarly, communicate with Jimmy if your child will be picked up early from school, arriving late, or deviating from the normal school day in any way.

*If you arrive after 8:30 a.m., please sign in at the US desk before going to class. If you need to leave during the day for an appointment, please have a parent email [email protected] and sign out at the US desk before you leave.
ATTENDANCE: If you are sick or late to school or must leave for an appointment, please have your parents contact the school at [email protected] or 410-339-4175. Any time you come or go from campus between 8:30 and 3:00, be sure to sign in/sign out at the Upper School front desk.
