Teach-in for Peace & Justice

Park’s Teach-In for Peace and Justice Day began in 1991 as a commemoration of the Holocaust with speakers presenting on various topics connected to that event. Over time, the commemoration broadened to include other issues of social justice.

The day begins with an introduction followed by a number of concurrent sessions on such topics as the Holocaust, current events in the Middle East, the Civil Rights movement, and same sex marriages. The teach-in concludes with a keynote speaker. Past speakers have included Leo Bretholz, Milton Cornish, Michael Fishback, and Felix Kestenberg.
