Rob Piper

Middle School Science Chair

Rob teaches Middle School science and chairs the department, and previously served as a science specialist for the Lower School.

In addition to participating in numerous committees, student clubs and activities, and summer FACA grants over his years at Park, Rob is also a long-time soccer coach for teams in all divisions of the school and for both indoor and outdoor seasons.

His experiences before Park include work as a clinical chemist, and as a Middle School science teacher, department chair, and curriculum writer for Howard County Public Schools.

Rob has published middle school and environmental science curricula for the Howard County Public Schools, and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Rob has a B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany with a double major in Biology and Chemistry, an M.T. degree from Albany Medical Center Hospital, and an M.S. in Education from the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is the parent of two Park School alumnae in the classes of 2011 and 2017.
