Melissa Osquist
Upper School ScienceMelissa teaches science in the Upper School and is a co-advisor to the Class of 2025. She is also a faculty advisor for the Upper School Pride Club.
Some of her science electives include Climate Change and Explosive Chemistry.
Melissa began teaching in Chicago Public Schools in 2008 after graduating from college and spending some time doing environmental conservation work. She has taught biology, chemistry, physics, and computer science, all at the Upper School level. Before coming to Park, she was the science department chair at Severn School, where she taught three levels of chemistry and created curriculum using integrated technology.
Melissa has a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, an M.S. in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University, and an M.S. in Computer Science from Johns Hopkins University. She is the parent of a Park student in the Class of 2036.
