Laura Hall
Middle School FrenchLaura teaches French part-time in the Middle School modern language department.
Prior to joining Park, she taught French and Spanish at Bonnie Branch Middle School in Howard County for two years, and she taught French for seven years at the School Without Walls in Washington, D.C., also serving as department chair while there.
Laura completed the teaching assistant program through the French government in Lyon, France. Throughout her teaching career, Laura has continued to grow as an educator by engaging in various professional development activities, and later mentoring language teachers while teaching in D.C. She holds a B.A. in French Education from University of Delaware and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology Instruction from University of Maryland University College. While at University of Delaware, Laura was a Division I college athlete in tennis.
“After playing tennis in college, I still play today, and also enjoy running. I ran both the Marine Corps Marathon and the New York City Marathon. I love to travel and cook in my free time with my husband and two sons.”
