Katie Peck

Lower School Visual Arts

Katie teaches visual arts to our Pre-K through 2nd Grade students, exploring drawing, painting, print making, clay, and fiber arts. 

An educator and artist, Katie has extensive experience teaching across college, K–12, and community settings. Currently, she serves as an Affiliate Professor of Studio Arts at Loyola University Maryland while also teaching at Park part-time. She brings industry experience as a Senior Product Specialist at KiwiCo, where she designed hands-on art and design projects for children. Beyond higher education, she has taught in schools, museums, and nonprofit organizations, including the San Jose Museum of Art, Living Classroom, and Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative. In these roles, she developed and led interdisciplinary curriculum, integrated art with STEM, and built inclusive programming for students from diverse backgrounds. Katie’s professional background reflects a commitment to fostering creativity, collaboration, and curiosity through art and design.

Her art work has been exhibited in cities including Baltimore, Washington, D.C., Gatlinburg TN, New York, Los Angeles, Santa Cruz, San Jose, and San Diego.

Katie holds a B.F.A. in Art with a minor in Integrated Education Studies from Chapman University and an M.F.A. (Mount Royal School of Art) from Maryland Institute College of Art.
