Geoff Meyers

Middle School Language Arts

Geoff teaches language arts in the Middle School, and coaches Boys’ Varsity Soccer for Upper School.

Prior to Park, Geoff taught at I.S. 59 in New York City, and then went to The Fessenden School in Massachusetts. 

Geoff presented “What You Can Do Right Now: Affirming Students Across the Gender and Sexual Diversity Spectrum,” as the featured speaker at an AIMS Conference in Baltimore, 2012, and at a number of additional conferences from 2012 through 2017.  

He spoke on “ADVOC8: An Interdisciplinary Course for Student Engagement,” at the Progressive Education Summit in Baltimore, 2018.

Geoff has a B.A. in Sociology from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and an M.A. in English Education from Columbia University’s Teachers College. Geoff and second grade homeroom teacher Katrina Holmberg are the parents of two Park students from the Classes of 2020 and 2022.
