Dia Clark ’06

Director of Athletics – Boys' Program

Dia heads the Boys’ Athletic program while serving as a faculty advisor to the Upper School’s Black Male Forum and the Bruins Athletic Council.

While most of his job is on the administrative side of the Athletic Program, Dia still helps out with coaching responsibilities as needed. In past years, this has included coaching soccer, lacrosse, basketball, and cross-country. Dia was an All-Conference student athlete as a member of Park’s 2005 Boys’ Varsity Lacrosse championship team as well as a team captain of the 2006 Boys’ Varsity Basketball championship team.

At the 2013 People of Color Conference, Dia presented a workshop entitled: African American Male Forums, Symposium, and Institutes: Organizing events and developing a strategic plan that partners with the interests within the greater community. The workshop focused on teaching participants how to plan successful, meaningful, and thoughtful programs for African American males. Dia shared success stories at Park, and informed participants about how to develop partnerships, obtain parent buy-in, and reach out to secure prospective school involvement.

Dia earned a B.S. in Sport and Recreation Management from Temple University, and an M.S. in Athletic Administration from Northeastern University.
