Darby Pugh

Assistant Librarian

As the Assistant Librarian, Darby supports the library by cataloging, shelving, and creating book displays. She also teaches Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten library classes once a week. 

Previously, Darby taught English in Costa Rica to individuals of all different ages and skill levels. She was also an Early Literacy interventionist with Chapter One, providing one-on-one tutoring with students in Grades K-3 to develop their literacy skills.

Darby holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Florida Atlantic University. She has a TEFL Certificate from the International TEFL Academy in Heredia, Costa Rica. Darby participated in a six-week onsite excavation in Salango, Ecuador, with the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Archaeological Field School.
