Ann StarerLower School Visual Arts
As a visual arts teacher in Lower School, Ann “guides children in creating art.”
Ann has taught elementary aged children for close to 35 years, including working in public schools, private schools, and all boys and all girls schools. After spending 30 years as a homeroom teacher for children ranging in grades from one through four, Ann switched to working as an art teacher, guiding and appreciating, and creating with our youngest Park artists in Pre-K to second grade.
Ann earned a B.A. in Fine Arts (Studio Art) from University of Pennsylvania, and an M.Ed. in Elementary Education from The George Washington University. She is the parent of two Park School alumnae in the Classes of 2011 and 2014.Back to Faculty & Staff Directory
