Be a student of science teaching and learning for a night!
Learn about Park’s Core 9 and Core 10 integrated science classes and our approaches to effectively engaging students across disciplines — biology, chemistry, physics, engineering, and computer science. Hear from Upper School Science Chair Carla Guarraia — recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching — and students who have experienced Core 9 and Core 10 in preparation for Park’s dynamic upper level course selections.
These will be small group sessions — 16 participants per session — for parents of current 8th and 9th Grade students to experience Core 9/10 approaches to teaching and learning. More sessions may be added if necessary.
