Baltimore Hunger Project Community Service
Friday, January 12 from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. at Park.
Join other parents on campus to pack snack bags, birthday packages, and to create notes of encouragement to assist in Baltimore Hunger Project’s support of kids who face food insecurity.
Baltimore Hunger Project (which was started and is run by Park Alumna Lynn Kahn ’87!) is dedicated to eliminating the growing problem of weekend childhood hunger by feeding bodies and minds. BHP is bridging the gap between Friday and Monday by consistently providing weekend food packages to children facing food insecurity, in a compassionate and dignified manner. BHP raises awareness about the effects of hunger by establishing partnerships with community members, other organizations, and decision makers. Hope to see many of you there!
