2024-25 Peter Baida ’68 Middle School Writer-in-Residence
We are thrilled to welcome author Katherine Marsh to Park’s Middle School on Wednesday, May 7, as our 2025 Peter Baida ’68 Middle School Writer-in-Residence. Our visitor is an award-winning author of novels for middle-grade readers including The Lost Year; Nowhere Boy; The Night Tourist; Medusa: The Myth of Monsters and a sequel, The Gods’ Revenge.
Throughout the day, Katherine will be working with our Middle School students. She will be running writing workshops for all 6th graders based on her two most recent books (Medusa & The Gods’ Revenge). The library will host a lunchtime gathering for Middle Schoolers currently in the book club reading and discussing her book, Nowhere Boy. And she will be available for a book signing at the end of the day in the library from 3:15-4 p.m.
