Cross Currents
Cross Currents magazine is published by Park School’s Communications Department for alumni, students, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, and all friends of The Park School of Baltimore.
About the name: One of the publication’s original volunteers, Joan Snyder Abelson ’59, inspired by the movement of the water in the pond outside the school’s front door, suggested the name Cross Currents for the, then, eight-page bulletin. The name not only references a central and meaningful feature of the campus, but also conveys Park’s openness to ideas, reflection, and discussion.
