Park Camps Begins One-Year Hiatus

Head of School Dan Paradis has announced that Park Camps will suspend operations this coming summer (2013). The hiatus will give a planning group time to review current program offerings, consider new ideas and initiatives to help Park re-imagine its camp programs, and insure that Park Camps reflect most effectively the school’s philosophy and daily practice. In a statement, Paradis said, “I’m optimistic that, with the involvement of a number of Park faculty and staff, we’ll create a camp program that is successful in every way we might imagine. I look forward to updating the community as the new Park summer programs develop.”

Please note that Park will continue to host a number of summer offerings by outside organizations in the summer of 2013. Check www.parkcamps.com in the coming weeks for news and updates regarding the specific opportunities.
