Becky Bloom
Second Grade HomeroomBecky embarked on her teaching journey at Park in 2007, starting with first grade.
After a rewarding 11 years, she transitioned to teaching second grade. Becky holds a B.S. in Clinical Psychology with minors in Dance and Studio Art from Towson University. She furthered her education with a master’s degree in Special Education, focusing on learning differences. Becky is also trained in the Orton Gillingham approach to literacy instruction. Before joining Park, she worked as a learning specialist with high school students who have learning differences and spent a decade at the Forbush School, supporting elementary students with learning and behavioral challenges. She has a passion for children’s literature and discovering new games.
Outside of her professional life, Becky enjoys practicing yoga, reading, cooking, creating art, and attending live music events. She is also a proud mother of two daughters who graduated from Park in the Classes of 2017 and 2020.
