Visit the Lower School Garden with us for a search-and-find activity, a story, and a visit to the meadow to observe munching monarch caterpillars!

Meet Park’s Head of School and Lower, Middle, and Upper School Principals. Take a guided tour of our academic settings and get a glimpse of Park’s educational philosophy in action. Learn about our curriculum, community, student-centered programming, inspiring faculty, and how excellence is the natural outcome.

Middle School Science Adventure
An Interactive Afternoon with the Science Faculty!
TUESday, October 15, 2024
4:30–6 p.m.
In Park’s Middle School science program, students are encouraged to think, explore, and behave like scientists. In this interactive event for prospective Middle School students, participants will explore a part of the world around us that we rarely notice. Together, we will learn how to operate a compound microscope, prepare slides, and use cameras to capture micrographs of what we see. The event will end with a tour of our new Science and Engineering wing — a 12,500 square-foot state-of-the-art space, where Park students and teachers have room to work, experiment, and collaborate. Parents are invited to stay for an Admission Q&A. Refreshments will be provided.

Assistance Webinar
Saturday, October 19, 2024
9 a.m. – Noon
In this optional online webinar, we will provide an overview of the Park School tuition assistance policies, deadlines, and funding priorities. Additionally, we will discuss how the information provided to SSS (School and Student Services) is used by Park to determine potential grant awards. We will also answer questions about need-based versus merit awards and what a family might expect in future years as participants in the Tuition Assistance Program. Zoom information will be shared in advance of the event.

Our Experience Park “Open House” event will feature interactive sessions for prospective Pre-K through Grade 12 students and their parents. The morning will introduce families to Park’s remarkable teaching and learning community. Our faculty will share teaching materials, highlight student work, and will demonstrate ways in which we use Progressive pedagogy in the classroom.

Tuition Assistance “Get it Done” Workshop
Saturday, November 9, 2024
9 a.m. – noon
Reserve an individual time slot during this hands-on, in-person event. Applicants to the Tuition Assistance program are invited to bring their documents and complete their Parent Financial Statement (PFS) in a friendly environment with the help of facilitators. Make the most of this working session by logging on to the School and Student Services (SSS) website and creating a 2025-26 PFS prior to the workshop. Tuition Assistance staff will be available to answer questions, review in-process or completed applications, and help with the documentation upload process. Laptops will be available, or participants may bring their own. Space is limited.
Reminder: The Tuition Assistance application is due December 1, 2024.

Illuminate Your Imagination
Exploring the intersection of science and art
for applicants to grades 9–12
Tuesday, November 19, 2024
4:15 – 5:45 p.m.
Are you a creative thinker who is curious about how things work? Do you like tinkering or have an interest in design? Applicants to Grades 9–12 are invited to join us for this hands-on exploration of art and science.
Students will explore the science behind the RGB LED, considering how the three separate LEDs that compose them can be manipulated with variable resistors to create an array of colors. Students will have the opportunity to explore and generate ideas while learning basics about circuit construction and Ohm’s Law.
Note: Program begins promply at 4:15 p.m. Parents/guardians are invited to stop by at drop-off to meet Park’s Admission Team.

Middle School Arts Adventure
Make it, Paint it, Light it!
Tuesday, december 10, 2024
4–5:30 p.m.
Prospective Middle School students are invited to join us for an afternoon with the Park arts faculty highlighting performing, visual, and technical arts.
Centering curiosity and channeling creativity, applicants to Grades 6-8 will delve into elements of theater and visual art. Students will participate in workshops in either theater or visual art with two members of Park’s Middle School Arts Faculty, Gina Braden, Theater Department Chair, and Sam Oshinsky, Middle School Visual Arts teacher.
Students will also have the opportunity to ask questions and spend time with arts faculty.
Note: Parents/guardians are invited to stay for an informational session with the Director of Arts exploring Park’s curriculum.
