Sarah Schwartz
Upper School English ChairSarah teaches English in the Upper School and chairs the department. She also advises Pride Club and helps out with Shakespeare productions in the theater department. Her favorite classes to teach are Poetry Writing, Psychology and Literature, and Queer Literature.
Sarah’s previous experience included teaching at several summer programs for gifted high school students. Her poetry has been published in various nationally recognized journals and has been performed at poetry readings. She is writing a novel.
Sarah earned her B.A. in English at Pomona College, M.F.A. in Poetry at Brown, and M.A. in English at University of California, Irvine.
