Terms and Conditions

I understand the non-refundable registration deposit of $250 is applicable towards the fee and the remaining balance is due by May 15, 2023. In the case of registration after May 15, 2023, all fees are due at time of registration.

I further understand that on the basis of this registration, Park Camps has reserved and assigned a place for my child and has contracted for services, spaces, and supplies to be provided for my child.

Cancellations and Refunds

By Park Camps: I understand that if any session does not reach sufficient enrollment, Park Camps retains the right to cancel the session and I may select an alternative session, or Park Camps will provide a refund of fees paid.

By the registrant: I understand that should I wish to withdraw my registration, Park Camps must be notified in writing no later than May 15, 2023.

Late Payments

I understand that the balance of the fees is due on May 15, 2023, and agree to make all payments when due. I understand further that there will be a charge for payments not received when due. The late charge will be equal to one-and-one-half percent (1.50%) of the payment amount that is past due and will be imposed each month that a past due balance exists.

I understand and agree that in the event Park Camps must engage attorneys to collect all or a portion of any fees described in this registration, I will pay Park Camps reasonable legal fees, court costs, and other related expenses attributable thereto. I further understand that Park Camps has the right to charge me the highest fee allowed by Maryland law for a check presented for payment that has been drawn on an account with insufficient funds.

Additional Terms and Conditions

I understand and agree that Park Camps’ duties and obligations shall be suspended immediately without notice during all periods that the Park School is closed because of force majeure events or threatened events including, but not limited to, fire, natural disaster, war, governmental action, act of terrorism, epidemic, pandemic, or any other event beyond Park School’s control. If such an event occurs, Park Camps’ duties and obligations will be postponed until such time as the Park School, in its sole discretion, may safely reopen. I understand that fees or a portion thereof are not refunded due to such closures.

I understand that photos/video/audio recording may be taken of my child during the course of camp activities and I hereby give my consent for utilization of such photos/video/audio recordings in publications, advertisements, films, videos, audio presentations, websites, and/or social media used by or authorized by Park Camps, whether in print, radio, television, electronic and/or digital media.

I understand that only children who are toilet trained may attend Park Camps. I further understand that if my child is not toilet trained, he/she will be dismissed from the program with forfeiture of all fees.

I understand that Park Camps endeavors to provide an enjoyable camp experience and safe environment for all campers. I understand a camper will be dismissed if his/her behavior interferes with the enjoyment and safety of others and staff corrections and mediations are not effective in correcting the undesired behavior. I further understand that if my child is dismissed due to behavior issues, he/she will be dismissed from the program with forfeiture of all fees.

Activities and Transportation Services (applicable to the Are We There Yet? Travel camp only)

I understand that Park Camps endeavors to provide a safe environment for all campers, recognizes the value of experiences and, in planning these experiences, seeks to ensure appropriate supervision and care. I give permission for my child to participate in on-campus and off-campus programs and activities.

I understand that transportation services to and from Park School and for off-campus activities may include a Park School bus, an outsourced bus service, or a personal vehicle driven by a Park School employee, coach, or agent.

I understand that my child’s participation in activities and transportation services may involve risks, including losses that may result from my child’s or a third party’s actions, inactions, or negligence, and/or the condition of the facilities, equipment, or areas where the activity is being conducted.

Knowing and understanding the risks involved with participation in such activities and transportation services, with the exception of the Park Camp’s or Park School’s proven gross negligence or intentional misconduct, I voluntarily and willingly assume responsibility for all risks and dangers associated with my child’s participation; I waive all claims or causes of action against the Park Camps and Park School and its officers, directors, employees, and agents, arising out of my child’s participation in activities and I hereby release, hold harmless, and discharge the Park Camps and Park School and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from all liability in connection therewith.

I have read the Activities and Transportation Services terms and understand their legal significance. This waiver and release is freely and voluntarily given with the understanding that right to legal recourse against the Park Camps and Park School and its officers, directors, employees, and agents is knowingly waived in return for allowing my child’s participation in activities.

Camper Medical Information

In the event of my child’s need for medical care, I understand that Park Camps will attempt to contact me and/or my child’s doctor using the contact information I have provided; however, I authorize Park Camps and its program and activities leaders and designees to take those steps they believe necessary to obtain and provide medical care for my child.

I understand I must provide all of the requested medical information for my registration to be considered complete and processed.
