Cheveé Taylor ’01

Director of Upper Elementary and Middle School Admission

As the Upper Elementary and Middle School Admission Director, Cheveé has the pleasure of ushering families with applicants to Grades 3-8 through the admission process. As a Park alumna, former Park intern teacher, and parent of a Park student, Cheveé’s connections to Park allow her to engage with families from multiple perspectives.

Cheveé has more than 15 years experience working in independent schools. She started her journey as an intern teacher at Park School, taught in Lower School at Gilman School, and spent 10 years teaching in Lower School at McDonogh School.

With a background in theater, Cheveé has taught after school drama classes, facilitated fourth grade book clubs — where she infused drama games into the conversations — and taught an intro to voice acting course to Middle School students during Exploratory Learning Week, all here at Park. She is also a facilitator of the Middle School Black Female Forum affinity group.

Cheveé earned her B.A. in Drama from University of Virginia with a minor in English and her M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. She has two daughters, one of whom is a Park student in the Class of 2033.
